OMG‼️BEST Sushi EVER‼️

Ok to good food, slow service, didn't deliver all drink orders, only took desert orders from half the party.

The food is not bad but it's also not worth it's price. The "rib eye teriyaki" is really just a regular beef teriyaki that resembles Sansai's Japanese beef bowl, which is priced lower. The red dragon roll's quality is very similar to Pavilion or Ralph's. Overall very underwhelming for what is being advertised.

This spot never fails to deliver. They serve fresh food for reasonable prices, there no long wait even when the spot is full.

At this strip-mall spot, diners eat Japanese fare at wooden tables & chairs or at the sushi bar.

A bit of a hidden gem really. From the outside it looks super average. On the inside it was actually really nice. The food was delicious and the staff were incredible.

I had an amazing time at this place. We loved the first-rate atmosphere and the food. The waiters are super welcoming. I am glad we eventually decided to visit this restaurant.

Great local sushi place. They have a lot of options without trying to be too cool (no crazy deep-fried American rolls here) or too fancy (like overcharging for a piece of fish because they added sauce to a plate).Just a simple, legit Japanese restaurant with great service, good food, and fresh fish. Actually surprised they don't charge more than they do, but that's just another one of the advantages of this place. A+++ great seller!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is very good and the costumer service is excellent. A little on the pricey side for sushi but it's worth it. The quality of the fish is very good. And the pieces are generous. I got the Salmon and the Yellow Tail sushi and boy my tummy was very happy. The restaurant is very nice. You really can't see that from outside but it's very spacious inside and very nicely decorated. Dim lighting with light colored wood floors and tables. I'll definitely come back to this place again.

I eat in this great spot often! This is the best place to dine. I visit this place frequently. The meals are very good, the staff is courteous and the payment is reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this restaurant over a good supper.

Such a lovely little spot in Hollywood! Very friendly staff, great service, quality sushi, and amazinggg Nabeyaki Udon! It’s modestly priced - so you know the sushi isn’t sketchy unlike other cheap spots in the neighborhood. Will certainly come back!

Stopped in there for sushi at night- great atmosphere, playing silent b&w Japanese movies on wall. Friendly staff, great food. Will go back before I leave!

Excellent fresh fish served in creative and beautiful plating. The chef definitely knows his way around sashimi and the service is very attentive.

Best sushi ever. Authentic Japanese green tea. Calm and welcoming atmosphere. Parking is a challenge but the food is most definitely worth it.

Came across Shintaro while googling for a nice place for dinner. Stepping into the restaurant felt like I was transported into another world. The ambience was lovely, the food was really good, and the service was warm. Definitely one of the best meals I've had in my time here in the US!

Delicious

Last night's dinner was so good and so fun that I couldn't wait to write this review. Everything piece of sushi was delicious, every glass of cocktail was well made, and every person here was friendly, the whole dining experience here was amazing. Even the chefs weren't Japanese, their sushi tasted a lot better than a lot of better than those Japanese chef's sushi. I can't wait to come here again!

Dined here not too long ago and was more than pleasantly surprised. Extremely fresh sushi and delicious sashimi. Great service and atmosphere. This is our neighborhood sushi spot for sure!

I wish I lived closer to this place, I would go ALL of the time. I love everything about it. The ambiance, the decor, the FOOD! I have tried the spicy salmon bowl, and the spicy salmon on crispy rice. They are both to die for!!! The salmon is perfectly spicy and the veggies in the bowl are crunchy and fresh. I love this place. PLEASE go try it if you're around the area!!!!! You won't regret it :)

The noodle soup is the best I have had anywhere. And I recommend the green tea. The venue is intimate and not too loud, excellent for a date. The service is quite good.

Pretty good spot for some healthy Japanese food. I initially had trouble finding this place, the entrance is kinda tucked away on the street adjacent. Came on a Saturday for dinner and there were plenty of tables spaces open so I had no trouble finding a spot.

Awesome restaurant. It's an authentic japanese restaurant close to the Hollywood Boulevard, but in a much better place, quiet and comfortable. The quality of the foods are excellent, many options and good service.
